remaings/remaining

remains/remaining is a series of digital photographs taken of sculptures from my series “Neither Mine Nor Yours” placed in nature. It came out of a desire to explore how the sculptures change when placed in the context of the natural world rather than the traditional gallery system. The sculptures deal with identity and the interaction between humans and their environment. It seemed like a natural step to recontextualize them in this way. This series is ongoing and will evolve and change as the seasons, weather, and the sculptures themselves change.
